[Did anyone get the Twin Peaks reference in the title..no?...just me then....]
Very popular images by a sought after artist, Frank Damm [b.Germany]. Born in 1971 in Vreden, he studied design technology, art & food! His relaxed style reflects the Cafe society that is so essentially European. Currently a teacher of Design in Dortmund, most of the work by the artist combines his paintings with typography. This either means he brings into the picture cuttings or by an image literally leaves on the stamp. He also has a penchant for Jazzzzzzzzzzz, and these paintings are incredibly popular amongst Galleries in Europe, but sadly have not reached our shores as yet
The Plexiglass encasing that these images are presented in give the images a certain depth and richness
All pieces are 50 x 50 cms presented with a High gloss finish. Hard 4 mms thick plexiglass for stability. All plexiglass pieces are UV Repellant - will not fade in bright light for up to 30 years. Behind is a sturdy wooden baton for hanging.
